Oren Katzir
I am a PHD candidate in Tel-Aviv University under the joint supervision of Prof. Daniel Cohen-Or and Prof. Dani Lischinski. In addition, I have co-founded and serve as the CTO of OneView, developing simulation based datasets and algorithms for remote sensing application. My main research deals with deep neural networks and generative adversarial networks. My B.Sc. (cum laude) and M.Sc are in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, where I focused on image processing under the supervision of Prof. Guy Gilboa. I have an extensive code writing experience, both as a software developer and as a team leader in the IDF satellite branch. In addition, I have focused on deep learning algorithms for multiple applications as a researcher for the Beijing Film Academy (BFA), (domain adaption, 3D texture synthesis, etc.). I am motivated by hard academic problems with real application need.
